1 cup egg noodles
4 cups water
2 bay leaves
1 small onion
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chicken consume or bullion cubes
How2:
In a pot add water,onion( peel it and leave it whole for easy removal), bay leaves, black pepper.
boil the chicken, once the scum forms remove with a spoon. this takes about 20mins or less.
remove chicken place in a plate and remove meat from the bones you may cut them as big or as small as your prefer in your soup.
Remove the onion.
to the broth add the consume or bullion cubes. Bring to a boil again.
once the bullion or consume mix devolves re-add the pieces of cut chicken.
Bring to a boil then add the noodles. cover and cook on med-low until the noodles are cooked.
check to see if you need more liquid. taste it as well to see if its to your liking.
Pour into bowls, serve with crackers or like I did in the picture above grilled cheese sandwiches.
Tips: as you can see this is a very basic recipe you can kick it up by adding herbs,carrots celery to the chicken and onions at the beginning)
