
5 large potatoes, cut into wedges
2 cups flour
3 tablespoons seasoning salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
Oil for frying
Water for boiling potatoes
HOW2:
Add flour and baking powder in a bowl, Mix well.
Add seasoning salt or your spice mixture to the flour mixture. combine well then set aside.
Add water to a pot bring to a boil on med-high heat, place potatoes in, cook until 1/2 way done but not fully cooked they should still hold shape. They will finish cooking in the oil. Turn heat off after your done but dont remove them right away you need the moisture from the water for the flour to stick.
Take out a few fries at a time from the water straight to the plate of flour cover with the mixture then place on a plate. Repeat untill all the potatoes are covered in seasoning.set them aside.
Heat oil to med-high heat, once heated add the fries a few at a time if the oil is to hot reduce to med-low heat. cook untill golden brown and the potatoes are fully cooked.
Place on a paper towel or strainer to remove extra oil.
Repeat until all the fries are cooked. Serve Hot, ENJOY!
NOTE:* If you dont have seasoning salt you may use 1 tablespoon each: salt,black pepper,paprika,onion powder,garlic powder, and a 1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne. You may also bake these add some oil spray on them.
