Pizzelles

This makes 150 cookies. Its best to make them in bulk they are easy to store the dough away in freezer safe bags and freeze up to 2 months this makes it easy for you to make them each time. all you have to do is thaw them out and slip the edge of the bag and pipe in the batter. You also need a Pizzelle iron.

6 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoons of any flavor (i use anise oil )
3 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar

How2:
1. Beat the eggs until smooth. Add the oil and the flavoring. Onto the mixture, sift the flour and baking powder. Add the sugar and blend vigorously all of these dry ingredients into the egg mixture until smooth. The mixture will be sticky and stiff. Test by dropping the mixture from a small teaspoon. As needed, add a few tablespoons of water so that the mix drops conveniently as a ribbon in two to three seconds. If the mix is too thin, add a few tablespoons of flour.2. turn on the pizzelle maker follow the manufactures guide. Alternatively, bake for approximately 45 seconds, open the lid briefly to examine the color, and bake longer as desired to create a darker/browner surface. remove from the iron and allow to cool you can dust them with powdered sugar, or u can fill them with ice cream or shape them like cones.
