Cardamom Cream Caramel aka Flan


Cardamom Cream Caramel

Ingredients
5 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
4 cup milk
1 can thick cream (table cream)
1 teaspoon cardamon (liquid u can find this in many arabic stores)
1 teaspoon vanilla (liquid)
1/4 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice
5 tbsp sugar

How to:

1. Prepare the Caramel by cooking sugar over moderate heat until brown colour.
2. Pour into mould.
3. Shake the mould until the caramel coats the base and sides completely.
4. Beat eggs with vinegar, vanilla, milk for 1/4 hour, add cream and cardomon, beat until smooth.
5. Pour the mixture into the mould cover, cook over water bath in hot oven for 1 1/4 hour, leave to cool , chill in refreigerator until serve

TIP: youcan do without cardamom for amore traditional Cream Caramel!
