Chapatti flat Indian Bread


Chapatti is a very simple bread to make I use to eat this fresh when lived in Kuwait.

4 cups White Flour
4 tablespoon Sugar
4 tablespoon veg Oil
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 1/3 cup Water

oil to fry
Flour to dust

How 2 :

1. sift dry ingredients.Add oil and water knead until smooth. Divide dough into 12 equal balls.
2. Roll each portion into round shape , brush with 1 teaspoon oil, fold into conical shape,stand over flour dust tray, repeat for the remaining balls.
3. Dust with flour out each piece to 17 cm diameter disc.
4. Heat griddle and shallow fry both sides over low heat till golden.




TIP:Pair it up with the chicken with tomatio lemon sauce or enjoy on its own with some cheese
