Rice With Green Beans (Riz wa loubyeh) الأرز ولوبية

1/4 pund ground beef or lamb
1 cups basmati rice
2 cups water
2 cups green beans or peas
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 onion diced
oil to fry
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup pine nuts fried

How2:
In a pot saute onions,and ground beef until slightly golden.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt,all spice and Cinnamon.
Add green beans or peas, mix well.
Add water allow it to simmer for 1/2 hour to allow the flavors to mellow.
Bring broth back up to a boil, clean and strain rice.
Add rice, salt bring up to a simmer then cover reduce heat.
cook for about 20mins until liquid of rice is dry and rice is fully cooked.
leave on stove with burner off,and cover on to allow the rice moisture to redistribute giving you a nice fluffy rice.
Fry up some pine nuts and top rice with them.serve as a side to roasted chicken or some salad.
