Crispy Pita Croutonsالخبز المحمص






2 large pita rounds
oil to fry
salt

how2:
Cut up the pita bread first by separating one round into two 1/2's.
you may use knife ,kitchen sheers or you hands tear the pita into the size you desire.
Heat oil to med high, fry the pita in batches.
They should instantly fry up and turn golden within Min's of adding them to the oil.
Place on paper towel or strainer to remove excess oil
while hot sprinkle with some salt or even some garlic powder.
serve with any dish that needs croutons.
ENJOY!

Note:you may use as much bread you need for that meal your making, it can be made in small to large batches.
you may also top with other things like ground zatar,garlic,sumac,paprika,Cayenne pepper anything you desire. I also do this with extra odd ends of my pita bread and deff try this with hummus. Be creative use cookie cutters to make hearts flowers or any shape you may desire.
