1 small onion diced
2 1/2 cups water
2 cloves garlic crushed
1/2 lemon juiced (Optional)
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
How2:
In a skillet or pot, add oil, saute garlic and onions until the onions are soft on a med-low heat.
Add the kishik powder, followed by the 2 1/2 cups of water.
Boil for 5-10mins the kishik should be completely dissolved it will appear like a slightly thick porridge consistency if its to thick you may loosen it up with water if its to lose boil it a bit more.
Serve with lemon juice and pita bread.
ENJOY!
Tip: some people serve it with some sauteed ground beef, and if you have leftovers it will thicken so loosen it up with a lil bit water when reheating it.
