Jelly Squares

3 cups of flour
2 eggs
1/8th teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon vinegar
1/4th cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter or oil
1 small jar of your favorite preserves or jelly

How2:
Preheat the oven to 350DF.
In a bowl beat the eggs, add in the powdered sugar.
Mix well until its combined.
Add the flour, vinager, vanilla to the egg and sugar mixture, followed by the baking powder.
Add the butter or oil.
Mix until a dough forms.( depending on if you use oil or butter the dough may get to soft you may add more flour.)
In a lightly greased baking dish add some of the dough be sure its not to think( In the image bellow i had used a smaller baking dish this recipe makes 2 small baking dishes or 1 large baking dish)
Spread a good amount of jelly on the dough, if your making the larger baking dish you may use the whole jar.
With the remaining dough crumble it up using a grater or your fingers.
place in oven on top shelf, bake for about 20-mins until golden.
wait for it to cool down before you cut it into pieces.
Serve it with tea or coffee EnJoy!
