1 onion
5 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cups water
2 cups chicken broth
2 envelops of sazon.
1 can red beans
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 bay leaf
3 cloves
2 tablespoons oil
How 2:
In a bowl add chicken, 1 envelop sazon, black pepper. marinade for 1 hour at the most.
on med-high heat add oil to the pot and add the chicken in allow it to brown on all sides this will help develop some flavor.
while the chicken i browning in a food processor or blender add onion,garlic,1/2 cup water and puree the onion and garlic this will make a smooth sauce with no chunks just flavor.
add this to the browned chicken
.followed by the rest of the water,the 2nd sazon envelop,broth,cloves,and bay leaf. cover and cook for 35mins on low until chicken is tender and a sauce begins to form.
once cooked remove chicken aside for a few Min's into a place. add in the can of beans with its liquids this will thicken the broth. re-add the chicken to the pot , add in the oregano and cook with lid 1/2 on 1/2 off to allow the sauce to develop cook for additional 20 Min's.
once cooked you may serve with tortilla bread, or some white rice.
