Shortcut Tofu Tacos


1 package of Extra firm tofu
2 envelopes low sodium mild taco seasoning
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon(gravy master this is derived from onions, and molasses, it gives the tofu that dark meaty color this is optional)
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons oil


HOW2:
*Open the tofu strain out the liquid.
*crumble the tofu into a bowl.
*Add 1 package of taco seasoning, hot sauce,and the gravy master)mix well and place in freezer for about a  1/2 hour this helps make it much more firm.
* Get the pot ready with the oil on med-high heat add the seasoned tofu into the pot stir well to prevent burning or sticking if you find that to be a problem lower the temperature.
* Cook its for about 15Mins until it appears to clump together and begin to browned slightly. You will notice the extra moisture will start to evaporate and reduce. at this point you may stir in the other 1/2 of taco seasoning. mix well.
* Add water,stir and continue cooking, The water will form a sauce.
* Cook for an additional 15Mins on low the tofu will be gin to come together as you stir it this means its done.Turn the heat off and serve hot.

I made mines with some cheese, hot sauce and chopped cilantro but you may add what you like(beans,rice,avocados, sour cream,salsa.) Just have fun be creative! ENJOY!
