Filling:
3 tablespoons corn starch
2 cup milk ( i used 1% to make it less fat)
1 teaspoon orange blossom water
2 tablespoons sugar
Pistachios as garnish and Arabic syrup (Attir) atir(arabic sweet syrup)
HOW2:
Combine batter ingredients all except butter that's for the pan unless you use a non stick pan. set aside.
In a pot add corn starch and milk when its still cold mix to dissolved corn starch. Add to med-low heat.
Add sugar followed by orange blossom water.
keep string until it comes to a boil.
when it boils it will begin to thicken so reduce heat to low to prevent burning.
be sure to keep string it will thicken more. once its thick as seen in the images bellow place in a bowl set aside to cool.
to cool the crepes heat up the pancake pan to high-med heat.
add a 1/2 cup or less of batter.
with spoon spread out the filling to form thin pancake.
if its to hot you may reduce heat check to see if its a bit golden then flip.
repeat until all crepes are done cooking. stack them on a plate.
when your ready to assemble take a crepe circle fold like a cone.
hold in your hand add a tablespoon or more depending on the size crepes you made into the center.
sprinkle chipped pistachios on the cream.
place on plate top with attir (arabic sweet syrup)
top with more pistachios as garnish.
