Spiced Tomato rice

2 cups basmati rice.
4tablespoons oil.
1 Cinnamon stick.
4 cloves.
4 cardamom pods.
3 bay leaves.
1 med onions chopped.
1 cloves crushed garlic.
1 teaspoons grated ginger.
2 large pealed and diced tomato's.
1/2 teaspoon each: hot sauce,turmeric,paprika.
1/2 cup cilantro chopped.
2 1/2 teaspoons salt.
3 cups boiling water.

How2:
in a pan on med heat add oil ,cardamom pods,Cinnamon stick,cloves,and bay leaves heat them until the smell of spices appear.add onion, ginger,garlic saute until onion is a bit golden but not caramelized. Add the rest of spices and the tomato's continue to saute add cilantro,and water.
Bring to a boil again and add salt and rice lower the heat and cover. Cook for 15-20Min's.
