Manaesh

Dough:
1 packet dry active yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
1 1/4 cups warm whole milk
1 Egg
Toppings:
Cheese:
1 lb feta or Bulgarian cheese crumbled
1/4 cup sesame seeds

Zatar:
mix Zatar with vegetable oil.

Lahmi:
1/2 lb ground beef or lamb
1 onion
1 small tomato
spice: Cinnamon,pepper,salt,all spice.
2 tablespoons lemon juice or pomegranate molasses.
some hot sauce.


HOW 2:
Dough:
Dissolve the sugar in the ¼ cup water. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let ferment and bubble. bowl combine the yeast, flour, salt, olive oil, egg, and warm milk. Knead until a soft dough is formed. Dough will be slightly sticky, so always make sure your hands have a little olive oil on them. grease the same bowl with olive oil.
Return the dough to the bowl, cover with a clean cloth and leave in a warm dry place for at least 2 hours, until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Prep:

divide dough and make small balls set aside to rest. roll out on flour place on baking sheet top with any topping repeat till dough is finished.
bake for 18-20Min's until golden. Enjoy!
