1 box yellow cake mix (Follow recipe on box)
or Yellow cake recipe
2 cups crushed pineapple (Reserve some of its juice)
2 cups shredded coconut
3 cups fresh made whipped cream
Follow the cake recipe,bake. Allow the cake to cool.
On a baking dish place shredded coconut ,bake a few minutes until they become golden, place aside to cool.
Once the cake is cooled top cake with crushed pineapple drizzle some of the juice to moisten the cake.
when your ready to serve the cake make the whipped cream
Whipping cream:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
place mixing bowl in freezer to get cool
place the cream and sugar in frozen bowl. beat with electric mixture just until the cream is formed. do not over beat. I recommend making the whipped cream before your serve this cake.
top cake with whipped cream and top with toasted coconut.
