1 tablespoon cardamom pods
1/8th teaspoon saffron
2 teabags
2 1/2 cups water
sugar or honey
tea pot
small tea cups for serving
How2:
In a pot add the water, followed by the cardamom and saffron.
bring it to a boil then reduce heat to med-low allow it to simmer for 15-20mins until the fragrance of cardamom is present.
add the teabags wait an additional 10mins or until the color develops. turn the heat off and let it sit on the stove for a few while you get the cups together.
to serve place the desired sugar in each cup and pour the tea. Enjoy this with some Arabic sweets or cookies.
