Turkey Sausage Ragu


  • 1lb angel hair pasta
  • 5cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Sausage
1lb ground turkey.
1/4teaspoon cayenne pepper 
or red pepper flakes.
1tablespoon garlic powder.
2tablespoon fennel seeds,freshly ground.
1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
1tablespoon sugar.
1teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoon paprika

How2:
To the ground turkey add in sugar,black pepper, dried oregano,paprika,salt,cayenne or hot pepper flakes,garlic powder,crushed fennel seeds. marinade that for 24hours.
In a pan add oil,onions and the homemade sausage, cook on med-high heat.
with a spoon try to break up the sausage into smaller pieces continue cooking for about15mins until the turkey is browned.  
Add in the 5 cups of sauce,combined it with the sausage, lower the heat.
cover the sauce and cook for 20-25mins until it thickens lightly and the sausage is very tender.
Cook the pasta in boiling water. you may add it to the sauce or plate the pasta followed by spooning the sauce on top. Enjoy!
