Fried Chicken

8 pieces boneless thighs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup hot sauce
1 cup water
2 tablespoon Cajun spice
3 tablespoons garlic powder
1tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 stick Vegetable shortening (1cup)




HOW2:


PREP:
1.in a bowl combine hot sauce,water,Cajun spice,2 tablespoons of the garlic powder,Cajun spices.
2.add the chicken without skin if you want you may leave it on. marinade for about 1/2 hour
3.add paprika,and garlic powder to the flour, then place the chicken marinated chicken into flour
4.place on plate allow it to rest( the flour will be kind of caked on looking after it rests this is crucial because it will form that perfect crust.

FRY:
Steps 1,2,3 is about heating the shortening in a safe manner because it can catch fire. so you melt it on a low heat. bring the heat up before cooking.
4. place chicken in pan 2 or 1 piece at a time do not over crowd the pan because it wont become crispy cook for about 15Min's per side depending on thickness of chicken ,on moderate heat until golden and its cooked threw. once adding to oil you may bring the heat slightly lower so that it wont burn and be raw on inside.
