Meat Samosa


1 pack Goya Empanada dough

1 onion diced

1/2 lb ground beef

1/4 cup spinach

1 tablespoon turmeric

1 tablespoon dry coriander

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper for heat (Optional)

2 Table spoons oil

pot of oil for frying

small cup water for closing dough


How2:

In a pan on med heat add oil saute onions for 15 Min's , add ground beef, salt,pepper,coriander,spinach,turmeric. saute until beef is cooked and brown. place in a bow to cool down.


to assemble:


take one dough round at a time roll 2x with a pin just to reduce the thickness not to much that it becomes thin it would cause filling fall out.


on one end of circle add filling , to one end of dough with no filling add water with your finger over edges. fold over and press dough shut. you may use a fork . repeat until all are formed doughs are filled.


pre heat some cooking oil, once hot add them 2-3 at a time cook until golden and bubbly.
