Orange Cake

Cake:
1 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange zest
2eggs (yolk and whites separated)
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup orange juice
Glaze:
1 cup confectioners sugar
3/4 teaspoon orange zest
4 teaspoons orange juice


How2:
Cake:
preheat oven 350DF. grease a 8in cake pan or pan of choice. cream butter ,sugar,and Orange zest with a mixer until it becomes light and fluffy. beat in egg yolk and fold into the mixture,fold in flour while adding little orange juice a little at a time. In another bowl beat egg whites with pinch of salt until they resemble whipped cream fold the egg whites gently into batter, spoon batter into pan and bake for 35-45 Min's or until a tooth pic inserted comes out clean. allow to cool and top with glaze.

Glaze:

In a whisk sugar,and orange juice until smooth add in orange zest it may appear to look like school glue spoon over the cooled down cake.Enjoy
