
NOTE:In the pic there is no sesame seeds as a garnish because i had run out insha'Allah when i get a chance i will update it with a new picture.
3 whole skinless chicken breast
2 tablespoons sesame seeds (Garnish)
Coating/Marinade
2 tablespoons of each:(soy sauce, flour, cornstarch, water)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 dashes of sesame oil
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Sauce
2-3tablespoons corn starch
1 cup water
1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
1cup chicken broth
1 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon chili paste
1 minced garlic
How 2:
Cut the chicken into cubes. Mix the marinade ingredients and marinate the chicken for 15-20 minutes.Mix together all of the sauce ingredients Pour them into a small pot and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Turn the heat down to low and keep warm while you are deep-frying the chicken.Add the marinated chicken pieces a few at a time, and deep-fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and then place chicken in warm oven 130 Df while you continue frying this will insure chicken stays nice and crispy before adding to the sauce. Repeat with the remainder of the chicken. Just before you are finished frying bring the sauce back up to a boil.Place the chicken on a large platter and pour the sauce over Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve the Sesame Chicken with rice or noodles
