Pasta with mushroom,broccoli in a butter sauce



1 cup Chicken Broth
1/2 teaspoon dried basil crushed
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups broccoli flowerets
1 small packet of sliced baby Portobello mushrooms
1 lb of angel hair pasta
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup cooking liquid from pasta.


How 2:
Get you water ready for pasta.
While you wait for the water to come to a boil you can get ready making your sauce start by sauteing mushrooms in 1 teaspoon of butter until mushrooms are cooked. Add broccoli, stock, pepper,garlic,basil.
Bring to a boil add remaining butter lower heat .

by this time pasta water should be ready angel hair pasts cooks fast so i save this for last be sure not to over cook the pasta because it will become mushy when you add the sauce. when its ready place in serving bowl.

to the sauce add the 1/4 cup of cooking water the starches alows sauce 2 thicken a bit.
Pour sauce over pasta toss in the grated Parmesan.
